The 2012 calendar year has come to a close and under OSHA’s recordkeeping regulations, some employers are required to calculate and post their 2012 injury/illness summary report(s) by February 1, 2013.

Did you know?

  • Every workers’ comp claim is not an OSHA recordable?
  • Every visit to the hospital does not result in an OSHA recordable?

OSHA uses records of injuries and illnesses to determine the effectiveness of existing safety and health standards.

NEED HELP?

Sheakley Health & Safety Services will be conducting a webinar to help you understand the requirements of OSHA Recordkeeping.  We will also review industries that are partially exempt from recordkeeping and the fines associated with non-compliance.

During this session we will…

  • Discuss why injury and illness records are important.
  • Differentiate between recordable and non-recordable cases.
  • Review OSHA Recordkeeping requirements and forms.
  • Complete exercises to increase skill in using forms.

Please contact Sheakley about our OSHA Recordkeeping services.

Please click here to register for the upcoming webinar on January 14 from 1:00pm-2:00pm (EST).
